First-Time Login Instructions

To log into the English Proficiency Test platform, simply follow

the detailed instructions below:

On the login page click on Login in to get started

Enter your User ID , and password, and click the Log in button

After you login to English Proficiency Test Platform, you will be di-

rected to the home page, which contains a list of tests and a

webcam snapshot block, located on the left of the window.

2: Take a picture

Once you log in , you will be prompted to take a picture, click

the Make Snapshot button.

Then, the picture is uploaded to the user profile picture.

3: English Proficiency Tests

Each of these modules can be taken independently, in any order; in one module, one after the other or you can take one module per day, if you prefer. Once you start any of the modules of the test you will have a maximum of 3 days to complete the four modules.

You must not interrupt the test and you must not leave (exit) the test. You have only one (1) attempt. The test is considered completed (done) once you exit for any reason and you cannot continue to answer.

There are two modules in the language test.

Click on the “Attempt test now” button to open the test.

Click on the “Attempt test now” button to open the test.

4: Begin a Test

Click on the test link on the course homepage and read the in-

formation .

To begin a test, click on the “Attempt test now” button.

After opening the test attempt, you will be prompted to confirm

that you wish to proceed the test.

5: Take a Test

Complete each question on the test. There are three types of

questions: multiple choice, true o false and drag and drop. If you

have problems with a question, answer the question to the best

of your knowledge or use the option of “flagging” the question so

you can return to it later.

The tests are timed. You will see a timer in the top right corner of

the window. The timer will start as soon as you confirm that you

wish to begin the test and will continue without pause until it runs

out.

There is a Quiz navigation block in the upper right corner. You

can use it to jump to any question

5: Take a Test

When you reach the end of the test, click on the “Next” button at

the button of the page.

Then, the “Summary of attempt” page is displayed, it allows

you review the questions and alerts you to questions not at-

tempted.

Click on any question number or “Return to attempt” to go back

to the test.

6: Finish a Test

Click on “Submit all and finish” to have your quiz graded.

After clicking on this button, you will be prompted to confirm

that you wish to finish with the test.

Once you click “Submit all and finish” button in the confirma-

tion box, you can no longer change your answers. Then your

grade shows up.

7: Log out of English Proficiency Test Platform

Click on the arrow in the top right hand corner next to your

name.

Click on Log out link.

Click the “Continue” button.
