Congratulations!
By downloading this volume of the series EEnngglliisshh--PPoorrttuugguueesseeFFllaasshh CCaarrddss
© you are about to improve your performanceovernight.
Firstly, what are ‘Flash Cards’?
Simple: Cards with a word, phrase or picture on them – tohelp you learn faster. And this e-book focus on... VERBS.
As they are the backbone of any language, by using them properly you can easily makeyour point to describe actions, conditions or experiences.
I found this true when I took a Sign Language Course1. All I needed to do was learn themain verb of any phrase, put it in the past or in the future with only one more gestureand... Bingo! What I wanted to get across became clear.
The present Flash Cards include numbers and verbs in Portuguese. Each one bringstwo words that ‘go along’ with the verb. Though most of them are in the infinitive form,I’ve included some in the present simple, for space constraints.
Now it’s your turn:
• Print pages 3 to 11. Cut the Flash Cards out. Keep some of them with you whereveryou go.
• Play with your friends, creating your own rules. With my students, I usually put thecards on a desk and call out a verb – or number – in English or Portuguese. Theylook for the right card and catch it, saying the verb/number in the target language.Sometimes we just ask questions with each of the verbs.
If you have comments or suggestions on how to use them, please let me know. To learnPortuguese online – For FREE! – you already know where to go:

If Making a Dream Come True is Great, Imagine Two at Once!
For a long time, I had two dreams:
1. Make the Portuguese language available for asmany people as possible
2. Take part more actively in my children’s developmentand education
Nowadays, I am making both of them come true by dedicating in full time to build a Website about the Portuguese language and creating FREE and low-cost resources forlanguage learning.
By visiting Learn-Portuguese-Now.com you can download the following e-books:
• 365 Common Portuguese Words
• My Portuguese Phrasebook
• English-Portuguese Flash Cards – 100 Phrases
• English-Portuguese Flash Cards – 100 Common Words
Watch the videos, download the audio and improve your Portuguese pronunciation!
Remember: they are all FREE.
In case you want to make a donation to support our work, you will also receive...
• Brazilian Portuguese Lessons – We’d Love to Hear Your Accent!
The aim of that e-book is to enable you to express yourself in Portuguese after the veryfirst classes. Please check the corresponding video classes online, and make theexercises. Anyway, find your own reasons and roll up your sleeves!
There are just a few things which money can’t buy. Don’t give up on your dreams.
I know you can make them come true.
