Our aim with the competition is to invite and incite ci-tizens of Budapest to make the streets of our city happier and more lively.Gardening on balconies, windowsills, corridors or terraces can strengthen our susceptibility for the environment and helps it infiltrate in our everyday lives.The uniqueness of this competition lies in the fact that it draws attention to environmental responsibility in an easily admissible way.We believe that the best way of spreading ’green thinking’ is to do it playfully and thereby we can help our competitors in having pleasant experiences and memories.

Our colorful, fragrant flowers covered small islands gave us many-many beautiful moments during our exhausting everyday life.- District I.

We made our barren 8 district balcony into flourishing garden. By the middle of the summer we cooked from home grown strawberries, tomatoes, chili peppers, mint and lemon balm.- District VIII.

In the shade of palms and bougainvillea the lunch is better; there is no need for the air conditioner in the living room in the heat.- District III.
