assessment and you will need to respond to this writing prompt.

Writing Prompt:In “The Interlopers,” a violent storm causes a tree to fall on longtime enemies Georg and Ulrich. As a result, the men are caught beneath the tree and fear that their lives are in serious danger. How does this situation cause the men to rethink life and their bitter feud, and why is the change in their outlook ironic? What further ironic twist occurs at the end of the story? In an essay, explain your answers to these questions.
