Comparison and Similarities of Iron Man and Batman

I always love watching superheroes movies especially Tony Stark in “Iron Man 3”

and Bruce Wayne in “The Dark Night Rises”. Both Iron Man and Batman are the best

popular superheroes that doesn’t have super power but rely on high technology. They both

have similarities such as characteristic, background, have partner that they thrust and confide

in, and fight with justice.

Both Iron Man and Batman have the similar characteristics which are intelligent. Both

are very capable thinkers. They don’t have super powers but using their knowledge and high

technology to build their weapons to fight crime. From the first episode in Iron Man shows

how Tony Stark started his first armored suits as well as Batman. They build and design of

their own armored suits but they both have a different design. Iron Man builds his armored

suit which enables him to fly and weapons all around the suits. Besides that, he also builds

several models which can only detect his DNA so that other people couldn’t wear it. Batman

has his own design armored suits with different function such as bulletproof and fire resistant,

featuring a weighted cape. He also designed his own weapons, car, and motorcycle with high

technology, high speed and high powered such as fully computer rise, micro-camera, smoke

pellets gas mask and other more.

Both Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne are billionaires and have their own companies.

Tony Stark work as a businessman as well as Bruce Wayne. Not only that, both of them are

also a playboy socialite, they like to flirt with other girls. Their parents were killed when

they’re young. Iron Man got his heart injured while having a war fight with his first armored

suit. Therefore, the armored suit now he created also helps to keep his damaged heart beating.

Batman’s parent was killed in front of his eyes. That’s why he became a Batman and trained

himself to be a good fighter. Without weapons Batman still can fight with his strength but if

Iron Man can’t fight without his armored suits.

In these movies, Iron Man and Batman have someone to trust and confide in. Iron

Man has his sidekick Jim Rhodes who helps him to fight crime. He designed one armored

suit and gave to Jim Rhodes. Furthermore, he also has someone who very close in a

relationship with, which is Pepper. Batman also has his sidekick which is Robin that helps

him fight crime. Robin has been his sidekick since very young. He trusted Robin and asked

him to take over his lab. Other than that, he also has someone who very close in a relationship

which is Alfed.

Last but not least, both superheroes fight for justice. They willing to die or sacrifice

themselves to save others. In the movie Iron Man 3 shows that Tony Stark was a play boy

and a show off person but after when he was fighting with the villain that wants to kill him

and want to transform human to another generation. Therefore, Iron Man started to use his

armored suit with goods. Although he still show off but he still have the urge to rescue the

world. Bruce Wayne became a Batman because he couldn’t stand crimes like this to go

unpunished and unsolved. He was afraid of bats and that is when it hit him that he had to

overcome his fear and be more than just a simple human being in the eyes of the criminals.

In conclusion, both Iron Man and Batman are very strong superhero that doesn’t have

any super power. It would be hard for me to choose which the best superheroes between this

two are because they both are similar and wisdom. I have always loved watching the entire

episode for this both movies. They are getting stronger in each episode and more interesting.
