Rough Draft:You are a ray of sunshine in a cloudy sky,

A beam of light on a dark, dark night,You are a glimpse of joy in a sea of despair

Who knew that you would be there.

It is your love that shows me the wayThrough the winding maze of the waking day

A maze so full of terror and fear,A maze that makes me relieved you are here.

At the end of that maze is a paradise lost,

One that turns sour with my heart as the cost.The happiness once felt with you so near,Has made me wish you had never here.

In the end our love was not what it seemed,In the end our love was not to be.
