1 ENGLISH EDITION § iS-ft-i-r^i-/j£+s g£H lo. 5 MONDAY, JANUABY 10, 1949 NOTIFICATIONS Ministry of Finance Notification No. 7 January 10, 1949 In accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 2 of Article 13 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Emergency Financial Measures Ordinance (Ministry of Finance Ordinance No. 12 of 1946), a part of the Regulations on Funds to be Supplied by the Financial Institutions (Ministry of Finance Notification No. 37, March, 1947) shall be amended as follows: Minister, of Finance pro tern. Minister of State OYA Shinzo In 3 of Part II Funds for Equipments, (a) shall be deleted and "A2" of (b) shall be amended as "'A," (b) as '(a), (c) as (b)? and (d) as (c). In 4 of Part III Revolving Funds, (a) shall be amended as follows, (b) shall be deleted, (c) shall be amended as (b), and (d) as (c): (a) "A" is applied to such industries as need revolving funds for the purpose of fostering the in- dustries; and for these industries, the supply of funds shall be taken into consideration prior to others : 2 of Part V Exceptional Application of Priority Data on Loan for Industrial Funds shall be deleted. The attached Data on Priority of Loans for Industrial and Commercial Funds shall be amended as follows : ' (Attached Table) Data on Priority of Loans for Industrial and Commercial Funds 1. The Table of Priority of Loans for Industry and Commerce shall be applicable to the priority of the funds for equipments. 2. Ministry of Finance Notification No. 7

January 10, 1949

In accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 2 of Article 13 of the Enforcement Regulations of theEmergency Financial Measures Ordinance (Ministry of Finance Ordinance No. 12 of 1946), a part of theRegulations on Funds to be Supplied by the Financial Institutions (Ministry of Finance Notification No.37, March, 1947) shall be amended as follows:

In 3 of Part II Funds for Equipments, (a) shall be deleted and "A2" of (b) shall be amended as"'A," (b) as '(a), (c) as (b)? and (d) as (c).

In 4 of Part III Revolving Funds, (a) shall be amended as follows, (b) shall be deleted, (c) shall beamended as (b), and (d) as (c):

(a) "A" is applied to such industries as need revolving funds for the purpose of fostering the in-dustries; and for these industries, the supply of funds shall be taken into consideration prior to others :

2 of Part V Exceptional Application of Priority Data on Loan for Industrial Funds shall be deleted.The attached Data on Priority of Loans for Industrial and Commercial Funds shall be amended as

follows : '

1. The Table of Priority of Loans for Industry and Commerce shall be applicable to the priority of thefunds for equipments.

2. The priority of revolving funds shall be fixed as follows: "(1) Accommodation of fund by means of the following bills shall be treated as "A":

Bills attested by " Kodan " (public corporation);Distribution bUls ;Trade bills;Agricultural bills ;Bills with certificate of " Kodan " (public corporation) ;Bills with certificate of delivery;Stamp bills of the Bank of Japan;Commercial bills which the Bank of Japan deems as appropriate to its re-discount or other

similar bills which the Bank of Japan deems as excellent.

The conditions of the bills mentioned in the preceding paragraph from (a) to (c) shall be determinedby the Minister of Finance. , c ,

(2) Accommodation of funds- absolutely necessary for the settlement of bills mentioned in (b) and (h) of(1) shall be treated as."B". , •E
