● Design products & processes● Test safety
Your Challenge Today?
Your Materials
● Tape measure● Paper● Pencil/pen● 150 rubber bands● Your group’s dare-devil animal
Your Goals
1. Create a bungee cord that will NOT result in any part of your animal’s body touching the ground.
2. Make your animal’s ride as long as possible.
3. Test, collect data, and refine to find the ideal length of the bungee cord.
4. Communicate your process and progress to judges.
Scoring
Judges’ Scores + Length of Bungee Drop
If any part of the animal’s body touches the ground: Length of Drop = 0
Constraints
No one may go to the 3rd floor until official jumps
The height of the 3rd floor balcony will be revealed at 2:25 PM
The 2nd floor balcony will be open for testing at 2:35 PM
