who is an Army wife, mother of two, and doctoral student pursuing her doctorate of education in Community Care and Counseling/Pastoral Care. She leads the organization with a decade of experience as a military spouse.

Army Wife Network was founded in April 2009 as the umbrella that joined what was previously known as AWTR, Field Problems™, and Loving A Soldier blog. Although our name includes “Army wife,” our following has since grown to include military spouses from all branches. We also serve and support those connected to the military, including male milspouses, mothers, fathers, children, friends, veterans, service members and military-related nonprofits.

The semi-monthly SITREP (that’s “Situation Report” for anyone new to our neighborhood) is a recently revamped, one-stop shop for all things milspouse empowerment: news, humor and resources on a variety of topics.

Army Wife Talk Radio has been on the air since 2005 and will celebrate 15 years in 2020! AWTR is the leading and longest-running podcast of its kind and consists of weekly one-hour “shows” packed with resources for our listeners. The goal of the show is to empower our audience in their military life journey in a “mobile” format. Listeners can subscribe to the podcast and listen when they are sweeping up the sand tracked in by Army boots, prepping for homecoming or running off the military life stress while jogging on their favorite trail. As with all things AWN, AWTR is completely powered by volunteer efforts.
