2. Main marketing interests of pilot seminar participants.

Some students were interested, because they have marketing plans

in direct sales. The others needed to learn, because one of their test review focuses on marketing.

3. Success elements in farm from point of marketing. The sale of processed products (jams, syrup, fruit pastes) is just by

selling direct: on the farm, on local markets. The farmer uses networks of producers, who sell directly. Quality products. Knowhow. The farmer is proud about her

products.

4. Recognized problems in marketing.

Need to increase the number of customers. Need to increase production. Need to create new products to differentiate themselves from competition

5. Proposed recommendations for farm marketing development.

Create a website. Increase advertising. Have loyal customers. Prospect new customers. Think about new products. Market fresh fruits.

6. Other comments. Her daughter wishes to settle on the farm They could work as two on

the processing plant. It would then expand the orchard and explore finding other customers. For that she envisages the participation in "Farmers Markets Country " in Paris in Spring and Autumn.

She would also expand the sale of fresh and dried fruits (they plan to

purchase a 3rd oven). But she has no plans to sell anything other than fruit.
