Surface preparation and waterproofing wood and masonry connections were given a high priority. Materials are of very high quality. We hope this work will be both beautiful and sound. This work has been going on for the last three weeks and should conclude by July 22. In addition, you may have noticed that the Chapel door had been removed and replaced with plywood. That was very temporary! The door was removed to be reworked with a completely new oak exterior, and it will be stained and finished to match other new doors. As part of the project, the stained glass above the chapel door has had conservation and cleaning work done by professionals. The door hardware will be bronze. The frame will match the door in appearance. This project should be complete by July 15. Bruce Williams
