• Panas Laten :Panas yang diperlukan untuk merubah fase (wujud)benda, tetapi temperaturnya tetap.
• Macam-Macam Panas Laten:1. Panas laten penguapan (latent heat of vaporization)2. Panas laten pengembunan (latent heat of condensation)3. Panas laten pencairan/peleburan (latent heat of fusion)4. Panas laten pembekuan (latent heat of solidification)
• Panas Sensible :Panas yang menyebabkan terjadinyakenaikan/penurunan temperatur, tetapi fase (wujud)tidak berubah.
