INTRODUCTION

For more than 40 years Mecserve has provided the highest standard of building

services advice. The Energy & Sustainability division was established ten years ago

and the team has grown over this period to provide a wide-ranging energy and

sustainability service with expertise in all areas of energy and sustainability – from

planning policy to implementation.

APPROACH

We offer Energy & Sustainability Consultancy with a difference. Our approach is

rooted in our background as an engineering business, and so we bring a rational

and measured thought process to the energy and sustainability strategies we

develop. We understand our client's conflicting requirements and we work with the

project team to deliver successful strategies that benefit the developer, end-user

and environment. Our approach is pro-active and we encourage that our

involvement in your project begins at the concept stage, so that we can support

you through to the operational phases of your scheme. We work with our

engineering colleagues to deliver schemes achieving the highest levels of

sustainable design within whatever constraints you face. These might include listed

buildings, city-centre sites, limited budgets and challenging planning conditions.

The Mecserve sustainability team prides itself on its ability to work with a range of

project stakeholders, to design to programme and cost and to implement creative

and innovative solutions which apply appropriate technologies to solve complex

problems.

Our sustainability team have worked on many projects in different sectors and we

have a vast amount of experience in various areas such as supporting planning

applications, building simulations, energy consultancy, BREEAM, Code and other

sustainability assessments. Our Energy & Sustainability clients include The Crown
