Rezoning Applications

• Rezoning applications for Part 3 concrete and wood frame towers will have the option to comply with either:

1. The specified Step Code step for the building archetype; OR

2. A step below the specified step for the archetype AND meet a greenhouse gas intensity of 6kg/m2/year

Building Permits

• Building permits will be subject to the specified Step Code “step” in building bylaw based on the building archetype.

Mid Construction Blower Door Test Requirement

Conducted by an Energy Advisor or a Registered Professional.

Required to improve the airtightness and/or energy performance of the building if:

• More than 1.5 ACH50 above the proposed value

in the energy compliance report; OR

• With sub-standard energy-efficiency upgrades
