Energy Efficiency ProgramAre energy costs putting pressure on your business’s bottom line? Would you like help finding a way to save money and energy and get help to pay for it????

RMANH can do that! We have a grant funded, 3 Phase Energy Program that will make it easy for you to reduce your energy costs.

Looks at the building as an interactive system and reviews lighting, building shell insulation/air infiltration and me-chanical systems including HVAC to evaluate potential opportunities.  The assessment will provide you with a sum-mary of your energy usage and identifies areas in need of improvement. It will also provide some basic estimates for project costs and energy savings, as well as an estimate of the cost of the Phase 2 Audit.  The assessment is completely paid for by RMANH (approximate $1,500 value). There is a $100 application fee, howev-er, this is waived for RMANH members.

More deeply investigates the issues iden-tified in Phase 1 as well as defining spe-cific remedies to improve the efficiency of the building and lower your utility bills.  The estimates for costs and savings are further defined. You will also receive a detailed scope of work for specific proj-ects to present to contractors in order to receive comparable bids/proposals. RMANH pays up to 60% of the cost of this audit, (the cost and scope of the Phase 2 audit is specific to each build-ing and the existing condition of that building).

RMANH will rebate up to 20% of the cost of implemented energy efficiency measures (up to a $30,000 rebate.) We will also assist you in securing utility re-bates to further lower project costs and educate you on tax incentives and loan programs available. Depending on the measures being implemented and the funding sources qualified for, savings off the cost of implementation could range from 20%-50%.
