Origin ENEDA is a non-stock, professional non-government, non-profit association registered at the Securities and Exchange Commission in the Philippines on November 22, 2002, CN200260725, as a professional association among College Educators in Entrepreneurship. Serve as a pool of resources in terms of faculty and student manpower as well as research, teaching methodlology and educational materials; 3. Link upwith Entrepreneurs in the Philippines and abroad for the advancement of Entrepreneurship curricula and the Entrepreneurship students; 4. Address and /or attend whenever feasible to issues and concerns relative to entrepreneurship as an educational course as well as a major means of livelihood; 5. Organize regional and provincial chapters nationwide. Status: Membership and Affiliation The Young Entrepreneurhsip Society or YES is the student arm created by ENEDA to formally link the students and educators as they both work together through various learning program interventions which aims to enrich and empower them. YES –ENEDA Philippines was initiated in school year 2004-2005. ENEDA Philippines is affiliated with various agencies when it started and plans to reactivate its relationships as part of its progessive stand to move forward. It also intends to network with other local and foreign institutions to enrich the entrepreneurship program in higher education that would further improve human development and thus, catalyze more productive endeavors.

Very recently, ENEDA forged alliances with prestigious institutions to strenghten its organization. These are the University of the Philippines, Institute for Small Scale Industries (UP ISSI) ; Small Enterprises and Research Foundation Inc., (SERDEF); the Ayala Foundation, Inc. (AFI) TBI Network - Entrepreneurship Program; the Enterprise, One Meralco Foundation; and PLDT SME Nation. ENEDA has also shared its interests and concerns with the DTI-BSMED; DOST-DatBed/SETUP; Local Government Unit –Marikina; House of Representative – SME Program with Hon. Teodoro Casino; and other private and individual supporters in the person of Atty. Loida Nicolas Lewis; Johnlu Koa; Mona Serrano; John Michael Lu; Atty. Marc Marasigan, Theresa Cruz, MC and YES officers and the ENEDA academic community. Collaborative undertakings among these institutions and persons can only lead to a brighter future. Programs The program for the educators and students can be traced back from its growing stage through its chapter creation, knowledge and capacity building. Using the “triple-helix-approach” to development now, ENEDA enjoins the academic community; the private agenicies, institutions and individual supporters; and the government for program collaboration. It seeks to reinvent its programs with fresh concepts gained from local experiences with a global perspective to bring ENEDA to new heights in advancing entrepreneurship education; in professionally managing the association and strengthening chapter operations. Specifically, these are in the areas of effective teaching models and programs; action-based policy recommendations; research and training; expert resource pooling and extension services; active involvement with YES, its student arm, good governance, networking, collaboration and sustainability.
