CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION
This course will outline where standard practices in endoscopy are currently and how new
innovations may enhance or revolutionize endoscopy practice in the future. A series of lectures,
debates, and live case demonstrations over two full days will be conducted by expert faculty
from multiple disciplines and from all over the world.
LEARNING OBJECTIVESAt the conclusion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:
• Implement standard guidelines for screening and surveillance for Barrett’s
esophagus and colon cancer in practice;
• Discuss the endoscopic therapies for Barrett’s dysplasia and reflux disease,
• Identify the principles of safe and effective polypectomy and endoscopic resections;
• Describe the diagnosis and management of pancreaticobiliary lesions;
• Discuss the management of pancreatitis and its complications;
• Discuss endoscopic therapies for weight loss in bariatric patients;
• Discuss prevention and endoscopic management of complications.
