SizeThe giant panda is about the size of an American black bear. Giant pandas are two to three feet tall at shoulder on all four legs and four to six feet long.
Weight
The males weigh 250 females weigh 220.
HabitatA giant panda lives in broadleaf and coniferous forests that has a dense understudy of bamboo.
Climate
Dense rain forests.
Diet
Wild giant pandas eat only (99 percent) of bamboo. Their diet is a balance of other grasses occasionally Small Rodents, and Musk Deer Fawn. Giant pandas in zoos eat Bamboo, Sugar Cane, Rice Gruel, special high fibre Biscuits, Carrots, and Sweet potatoes.
There are about 1,600 Giant Pandas in the wild but more than 300 Giant Pandas in zoos.
