THE ROLE OF THE SCRIBE
• The scribe facilitates the examiner’s access to the child’s written component.
• The examination assistant can ask the child to read out words which are totally illegible.
• The EA writes in a coloured biro the word the child intended writing but which is misspelt to such a degree that it is rendered illegible.
