The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.(Psalm 37:23) Have you ever noticed that life can of- ten be like trying to pick up a bouncing AFL football, in that it looks like we have got it covered, waiting for that third bounce to be a little bit higher and perhaps a bit more slow and loopier. It sounds good in theory but in reality a team of scientists could not guarantee which way it will bounce. Life seems to be just like that bouncing footy, bounc- ing in an unpredictable way. Life is a series of challenges and obstacles that are either an opportunity to trust and grow, or we can allow circumstances to dampen our faith and direction. Those awkward bounces and changes in di- rection in our lives are our opportuni- ties to trust and grow. The key to getting to the goal is to fo- cus on what the Lord has for today. He understands our emotions and strug- gles. If we remain faithful, He will guide us – one step at a time. If we take those steps, before we know it, well have made it. Of most vital importance is to remain faithful and effective for the Lord Jesus, no matter where we are in our circumstances. But seek first the kingdom of God and His right- eousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will wor- ry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.(Matthew 6:33-34) Steven Nicholas. PLEASE PRAY This week for these fami- lies: Kelly, Lacey, Lamers and McGrath families. SCHOOL PHOTOS Please be aware that the school photo or- ders have been sent home today with the oldest student in each family.
