Quality of LifeFayette County is a special community with an inviting environment that continues to flourish & prosper. It has an idyllic lifestyle close enough to the big city of Atlanta and the city’s attractions to be interesting but also just outside enough to make it possible to raise children, know neighbors and participate in schools, government, and community. Health CarePiedmont Fayette Hospital (PFH) is a 106-bed, not-for profit, acute care community hospital that opened in 1997 as the first new metro-Atlanta hospital in 14 years. In 2006, PFH completed an expansion that nearly doubled the size of the hospital to

over 320,000 sq. ft. which includes the first Maternity Center offering obstetric services in Fayette County. PFH offers a full range of health services, including medical and surgical, critical care, cardiopulmonary, outpatient surgery, physical therapy and rehabilitation, laboratory and comprehensive outpatient services. A 24-hour on-campus Emergency Department with an FAA-approved helipad serves the emergency medical needs of the community.
Quality of Life cont.Public SafetyOne of the major elements of “quality of life” is public safety and Fayette County takes a back seat to no one in this category. Fayette County has by far the lowest incident of crimes against people and crimes against property in the metro-Atlanta region. Additionally, the city of Peachtree City traditionally has either the lowest or next to the lowest crime rate of any city in America with populations of 20,000 and greater!
you will find a profusion of recreation centers and other facilities that offer soccer, baseball, softball, golf, tennis, gymnastics, health clubs, and swimming opportunities. As well, there are many opportunities for seniors, environmental, civic, business, support groups, veterans, religious, and arts activities.
RecreationAs you might expect with Fayette County’s unusually high quality of life factors, the level of community recreational amenities exists in great numbers. Countywide,

Georgia Foreign Trade ZoneThe Foreign Trade Zone allows overseas companies establishing themselves to secure cost advantages not generally available internationally. The FTZ offers a full spectrum of services designed to facilitate and expedite the movement of goods. Of particular benefit is the ability of the FTZ to help businesses manage duty and tariff costs. Because of its high tariff rates, the foreign trade zone is particularly useful to the international shipping of alcohol.
