Compact enclosures with mounting strips on the door for fast attachment ofsupport strips, cable conduit holders and covers. The door has an openingangle of 130° (180° by request) and the rear panel is supplied with holesprepared for wall mounting bracket or direct wall mounting, The single doorsare hinged on the right, but it is possible to swap these to the left on all exceptthe 200mm wide enclosures. The multi-folded enclosure protection channelprevents dirt and water entering when the door is opened, there is also a PEconductor connection facility on the enclosure, door and mounting plate. Thecable gland plates, which are made from steel for self-assembly, may beexchanged for pre-punched plates or plastic cable gland plates.

Terminal boxes with screw-fastened lid and profile strips with mounting holeson both sides for the installation of cross rails or mounting plate. Cover may beopened and securely locked in a flash, with a quick-action screw. Quarter turninstead of thread ensures correct contact pressure of the seal. Available with orwithout cable gland plates (enclosures with gland plates include steel gland plateswith seals and assembly parts).

The KL range . . .

Compact system enclosures which combine the case benefits of the AEcompact enclosure with the installation diversity of the TS8 top enclosuresystem. They are an excellent alternative to the larger enclosures in the AEseries. The single doors are hinged on the right, but it is possible to swap theseto the left. The enclosures are supplied with a mounting plate and open basefor individual cable entry.

These enclosures consist of two side panels and a roof that are made from onepiece of steel, the rear panel of the enclosure is screwed on for easy access andcable entry can be handled in a variety of ways using the integrated base frame.The door and rear wall are electrically bonded to the enclosure using apatented hardware system that requires no separate ground straps. The twomounting levels integrated into the enclosure provide more room for options,making better use of space while reducing installation time. The enclosures areavailable as one and two door versions, the single doors are hinged on theright, but it is possible to swap these to the left. The enclosed basic frame helpsto reduce debris and dirt collection making cleaning easier. The enclosures arehighly stable thanks to the self-supporting, integrated frame construction. Allstandard TS8 accessories are compatible.

The TS8 floor standing enclosure is a baying system with a variety of mountingpossibilities. The strength and flexibility of these enclosures come from theirrobust 16 fold, tubular frame which features a 25mm hole pattern that allowscomponents and accessories to be mounted horizontally or vertically. They can support loads of up to 3,200lb. Combined with the included zinc-platedmounting panel, the TS8 provides 15% more interior mounting space thansimilar enclosures. Due to its modular design it is easily adaptable to yourunique requirements, each vertical section is able to accommodate the hinges for an enclosure panel, ensuring the units are bayable on all sides. The rear panel can easily be exchanged for a door and both side panels may be hinged. The TS8 can protect critical equipment in even the most demanding environments.

Trim panels at the front and rear with fittedcorner pieces and side trim panels.

Base/plinth

All screws, nuts, contact washers andearthing strips needed to earth the cover.

Plinth which acts as a pallet once installed,eliminating the need for a wooden pallet,making it easy to move the enclosurearound. Tool-less assembly once thecorner blocks have been fitted.

With pre-punched holes (metric or PG) forcable glands. Used for sealing standardcable gland plates.Temperature range: -40 to +70ºC

The cable gland and locknut are supplied ina single pack, they have clampingmembranes for even tightening and strainrelief which protects the cables. Insulationis via a plastic insert with optimum seal onthe connection thread thanks to theO-ring. The locknut cuts automatically intothe spray finish, creating a conductiveconnection.

For mounting in the enclosure. Suitablefor mounting on the sides, base and roofareas.

For attaching to the enclosure from theoutside. Supplied with assembly parts.

There are a large selection of locking systems available, e.g.• Cam locks• Ergoform S lock systems• Semi cylinder locks• Security locks

For connecting individual enclosures into bayed suites. The enclosures areconnected between the base and roof frame.

Used to secure enclosure doors in theopen position. Also available with 180ºhinges for emergency escape routes

For fan and filter units/outlet filters. Easycleaning thanks to exterior silicon coatingapproved for use with foodstuffs.

Easily fitted without drilling and allows thecovers to be opened upwards, even whenthe terminal box below is bayed.

The cover hinge is simply screwed to theenclosure protection channel and to theedge fold.

For strain relief with cable entry. Thelength of the cable clamp rail is tailored tothe width of the mounting plate. Thesupplied mounting bracket can beinstalled straight or tilted.

These air/water heat exchangersare used for hygienically sensitiveproduction zones in the food andconsumables industry.
