Jesus Come to Jesus
Where are you at in responding to Jesus’ invitation? Do you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God? Have you publicly confessed Him as Lord and Savior? Have you repented of your sin? Have you been fully immersed in water (baptized) as Jesus instructed His disciples to do? If you answered yes to the previous, are you living your life with a constant awareness of God’s presence? If you answered no, what is holding you back? Jesus’ death and resurrection are not an automatic “in” for you, but they are an invitation for you to respond to all that He has already done. My prayer for everyone this Easter is to either: 1. (For those who aren’t yet Christians) Give your live to Jesus Christ for the first time; or 2. (For those who are Christians) Share your joy of being saved from sin with someone who has not yet responded to Jesus Christ. There is power in His name!

We Serve a Risen Savior Here’s a simple fact to ponder deeply: one historical moment has completely altered the past, the present, and all of eternity. That historical moment was when Jesus Christ stepped out of His tomb fully alive after being completely dead for three days. There is not a more important moment in history that exists for all of humanity. At Easter we focus on this moment as a reminder that our lives can be forever changed by the One who conquered death. This is not a fairytale, nor is it an embellishment of the truth. Instead it is the trustworthy, reliable Word of God that can be proven and supported through many witnesses and evidences. We serve a Risen Savior.
Jesus Saves Everyone, Right? It is crucial then to understand our personal responsibility in responding to the moment that Jesus stepped out of the tomb. Often, I hear that Jesus has saved everyone, but unfortunately that is not completely accurate. What I love about Jesus is that He has broken down every barrier for everyone to come to Him. Both men and women can come to Jesus. All ethnic groups can come to Jesus. All ages can come to Jesus. Every human being, no matter their location, vocation, or choices they have made can come to Jesus. Still, they must come to Him. One cannot arrive at eternal life with God just because Jesus died and rose to life. One must RESPOND to what Jesus has done. So, yes, we all have the opportunity to come to Jesus but unfortunately some will choose not to. When Jesus cried out on the cross, “It is finished!” His work to redeem humanity was over, and now it is our turn to respond to His sacrifice.

• We wrapped up our “ALL-IN” series
March 4th. Throughout this series, we
talked about how Jesus wants our
everything; that when it comes to
following Jesus, we have to give Him
our all. To wrap up the series, we
premiered our “Last to Leave”
challenge video in youth group. The
students seemed to really enjoy
watching the video, seeing how the
contestants went ALL-IN to win the
prize.
• We started a new series called “Jesus
Is ___” where we discuss some key
things that Jesus calls himself,
alongside other descriptions we find in
scripture
Upcoming Stuff:
• As we continue on through this weird time we
live in, be on the lookout for more Youth
Videos, lesson videos, and times to meet
virtually. We’re going to be putting a new fun
Youth video up every week on our YouTube
page, KCC TV. We’re also going to begin
putting quick lesson videos for parents and
students to watch along. We’ll also soon be
having times to spend together virtually
online. If you aren’t familiar with Zoom, it is
an app that’s a lot like Skype. Except you
don’t even need an account to use the app,
and you can have more people tune into it. Be
on the lookout for invites to Zoom meetings
with Caleb soon! Thank you for your grace
and patience throughout this weird time.
Please let any of the staff know if there’s any
way we can pray/help you throughout this
time.
• As far as I know, Church Camp is still
happening this summer! It’s never too early
to start thinking/planning for church camp!
Camp is always a great place to encourage
your kids in their faith and help them grow in
their relationship with Jesus. If things don’t
change due to the CORVID-19 issue, High
School and Middle School camp will both
happen July 6th- 10th. So be sure to mark your
calendars and be on the lookout for sign up
sheets!

He describes the need this way: In Serbia, we don’t have many good Christian books which address questions of how to live a Christian life, to find our identity, to deal with our selfishness and pride, or books which help explain the Bible in a practical way.

This ministry works when people like you and churches and church groups partner with LATM to provide the resources to publish biblical teaching around the globe.
