THEY ARE EPIC

Founded by Monsieur Christian Dior in 1946, the House of Dior cultivates a unique craftsmanship in Haute Couture, Ready-To-Wear, Leatherwork and Jewelry.

When the Director of Client Marketing of Dior Couture heard a keynote speech about Epic’s innovative approach to philanthropy, she realized that payroll giving could be the solution she was looking for to increase employee en-gagement.

She quickly teamed up with the Directors of HR and Tal-ent Development to initiate

a discussion around giving. In partnership with Epic, Chris-tian Dior has since launched a payroll giving initiative by offering their 1,000+ employ-ees the opportunity to round down their salary and give the difference to two Epic-sup-ported NGOs: M’Lop Tapang in Cambodia and SNEHA in India. Dior put Epic Portfolio’s organizations to employee vote — another opportunity for employee engagement. Christian Dior is also demon-strating their corporate com-mitment by matching one to one the donations of their staff.

WHY GIVE

For your clients

Customers no longer just consume brands; they also associate with them in a social way. As a result, brands are under sharper scrutiny to demonstrate reputable behavior and social impact.

Payroll giving provides creditable evidence that the search for social good is deeply embedded in the operational model of your company.

For your employees

The 18—35 year-old workers will soon represent over 50% of the workforce. They nurture a value-based set of expectations from their prospective employers and seek purpose and social impact as a key element of their job satisfaction.

Offering the possibility of giving as you earn demonstrates your corporate commitment to embed social good at the heart of your activities, and becomes an attractive differentiator for graduates and prospective employees alike.

For your investors

Shareholders and stakeholders are increasingly aware of the sensitivity of investment reputation and seek to fund and support ventures which positively reflect on their profile.

They find the payroll giving model attractive as it demonstrates the alignment of company and employees towards social good and contributes to increase staff retention and job satisfaction.
