EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM GUIDELINES I. Purpose The purpose of the Employee Referral Bonus Program is to provide an incentive award to current employees of GMCS who bring new staff members to the company by referring applicants who go through the security guard training program and start working for GMCS. II. Eligibility and Participation Definitions – In order to be eligible to participate in this program, there must be an Applicant and a Referring Employee (defined as follows): Applicant –A person who has never been, and is not currently employed with GMCS, and can pass a state and local background check. Referring Employee – A GMCS employee who is currently in good standing, with current Security Guard license(s)(Excluding all full time employees). This referral bonus is not retroactive. III. Referral Bonus Amount In states other than Vermont, the Referring Employee will receive $50 per Applicant referred when they have completed the training and work requirements. In the state of Vermont, the referring employee will have two options. They must determine, in advance, which option they choose. Vermont Options: 1. $25 – Applicant gets Temporary License and completes the work requirement, but, does not complete the 40 hour training. 2. $50 – Applicant completes the 40 hour training and work requirements. Under the guidelines, an employee may receive multiple bonuses, the total of which may not exceed $600 per calendar year. IV. Referral Bonus Program Administration The Referral Bonus payments will be paid in a lump sum when the Applicant has completed the following: 1. Must complete training requirement for the state they are licensed in. 2. Security Guard license in hand. 3. Worked 50 hours and 10 events without incident, within the first 6 months of employment OR worked 100 hours and 5 events without incident, within the first 6 months of employment. Referral Bonuses are awarded at the discretion of management with Kevin Cheney or his designee having final approval authority. GMCS will provide a form for completion and submission by the applicant with both the referring employee's and applicant's signature indicating that the referring employee has made the referral. In Vermont, referring employee must choose which option they want at the time the form is submitted (Option may not be changed once decided). Both the referring employee and the referred candidate must be employed by the agency when any referral bonus is paid. Any disputes arising from the application of this program will be the responsibility of GMCS management to resolve and will not be considered a grievance under the State Employee Grievance Procedure Act. Human Resources Director will monitor the use of the Referral Bonus Program and will report annually on the use of the Referral Bonus Program. The hiring process will be fair and consistent with company policy and procedures, with no bias for or against candidates whose selection might make another employee eligible for a referral bonus.

EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS PROGRAM GUIDELINES

I. Purpose

The purpose of the Employee Referral Bonus Program is to provide an incentive award to current

employees of GMCS who bring new staff members to the company by referring applicants who go through the

security guard training program and start working for GMCS.

II. Eligibility and Participation Definitions – In order to be eligible to participate in this program, there must be an
