The annual institute for emotional intelligence has provided a platform for sharing our research-derived education/transformative model of EI since 2004. We are proud to announce the 2013 EI Institute and Conference will be convened for the fourth time in San Antonio at the beautiful El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel over the dates of February 25-March 2, 2013. Mark your calendar, register early, and make plans to participate. We will work hard to make all events and activities comfortable, enjoyable, and highly productive. Wellness for Individuals and Organizations: Pathways to Positive ChangeFebruary 25, 2013, 9 am – 4 pm

This seminar with Darwin Nelson introduces the lifestyle assessment, wellness model, and overarching pathway to emotional intelligence. The LSTI provides the framework for our EI assessments, training models, and introduction to emotional intelligence for individuals, organizations, and learning communities. Focus is on health, wellness, and positive change.

Each participant will experience the LSTI, gain a process and model for lifestyle and wellness seminars for their own use, and receive a packet of LSTI assessments and learning guides. Participants will be able to offer their own seminar on lifestyle and personal wellness with emotional intelligence as the central emphasis.

Relationship Skills Map® (RSM®) For Counseling and Wellness Professionals March 2, 2013, 9 am - 4 pm

The Relationship Skills Map® (RSM®) is a positive self-assessment of emotional intelligence skills that are essential to establishing, maintaining, and enhancing healthy primary relationships. Unlike traditional measures of relationship satisfaction and personality, the RSM results are related to specific behaviors that can be learned and developed. The RSM is a reflective learning tool and a personal guide to meaningful emotional learning and personal skill development. Instrument validity, reliability, and practical applications in counseling settings will be emphasized. Includes RSM Professional Manual.
