Academic Internship American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Event Marketing & Brand Ambassador Intern Summer 2015 As an Event Marketing and Brand Ambassador intern I worked closely with the event team to coordinate events and host major donors, large corporate partners such as Domino’s, Brooks Brothers, and various other groups that visited the hospital. I would follow events throughout the early planning stages to the execution of the event. I also hosted tour groups that visited the hospital by becoming hospital and specialty tour trained within the time specified by our advisor. Our intern team would then work an on call schedule throughout the week for the hospital public tours along with working with large groups that would travel to tour the hospital, housing facilities, and specialty labs. The Intern Innovation project was an opportunity to work with other ALSAC interns around the nation in one of the thirty three region offices. Our teams were challenged to design to a new fundraising or awareness campaign that incorporated all of the organizations culture pillars. I worked closely with twelve other interns based in Memphis, Chicago, and San Fransisco. I was than selected as a team representative to present the project in a five minute presentation and five minute question and answer questions from any member of ALSAC’s Senior Leadership include the CEO.
