• In 2005, I founded a community of practice group which evolved into the Interagency Chief Learning Officer Council
• We established two goals for group collaboration:o Find ways to save taxpayer funding for
trainingo Find innovative ways to engage the
learner
• After retirement from the Federal Government in 2012, I am continuing to find ways to further these goals

Earlier in My Career
• I taught graduate and doctoral classes in the classroom and the “clicks & mortar ” online classroom for over 25 years at the University level
• I was an Investment Counselor for Merrill Lynch for over two years
• As an adjunct professor, I observed the power of online learning and witnessed its evolution from the 1990s
• As an investment Counselor, I learned how to recognize market trends
