• •Reduces procurement & transport lead times (from 86 to 1-45 days). Commodities are procured without having defined funding or final destinations

•Similar to FPF but in addition keeps food stored at strategic locations, where WFP has operations and assets

•Needs a reliable demand (HoA and GLK)
