Not quite ready for work? You will be! Run at your school or college by a member of the Santander team, these bite-sized programmes will get you up to speed in no time. Well, the time it usually takes to complete a lesson at school or college to be exact.

Interactive, informed and inspiring, our WorkWise workshops are geared towards:

• Introducing you to the working world• Getting you an interview• Landing you the job

Tailored to 14-16-year olds and 16-18-year olds, you’ll learn how to search, how to apply and how to attend. Beaming with confidence at every step.

Bundles of experienceto kick-start your career.

We know how difficult it can be to get a break when you’re unemployed and have little or no work experience. It’s the inspiration behind our traineeship programme.

Interactive workshops to boost your confidence and core workplace skills. Four weeks work experience. The opportunity to get hands-on with exciting live projects. And a recognised employability qualification at the end of it. While the programme is relatively short, it provides more than enough to get you ready for the working world.

And it doesn’t end there. Impress, and you could land one of our apprenticeships.

WE Flourish – 4-week placement | Summer holidaysWork on live projects with a paid placement in the business area you like. If it turns out to be something you’re really good at, it could even lead to an apprenticeship.

We get that some of you might not be sure what you’re going to do after school. Don’t worry, it’s normal. In fact, that’s why we’ve invested in these programmes.

We’ve got three options for you to choose from – each one put together so you can find out what the banking world is really like. We think you’ll be really surprised. In addition to getting yourself some real experience and insight, this is a brilliant way to build your workplace skills and confidence. Who knows, you might enjoy it so much that you make a career out of it.

You’ll not only get to work on live projects for a world-leading bank from the off, you’ll get yourself an industry-recognised qualification and a good wage at the same time. What’s more, there’s an exciting range of schemes available too. Entry level, higher level, degree level. Including customer roles, finance roles, tech roles…

Like what you’re hearing? Entry level programmes are for over 16s, for all other programmes you will need to be over 18, with a can-do attitude? Perfect.

I n t e r n s h i p sOur internship programme is a great way to spend the summer, especially if you like the idea of earning some cash while getting yourself ahead.

You’ll get a real, in-depth insight into our global business. An invaluable experience to add to your CV. And the equivalent to the National Minimum Wage for the duration.

It’s not all work either. All of our interns get to take part in a charity event to help raise funds for our partner charities.

One last thing. Do well, and you could even return to Uni with a place on our graduate programme.
