INTRODUCTION On behalf of Emerald Fields Resource Corporation, Horizon Exploration completed a total field magnetic survey over the King Bay property located approximately 24kms SSW from Savant Lake and about 210kms NW from Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada. The access to the property is by 103kms of paved road (Hwy 599) from Ignace to the Six-Mile Lake road junction and 11kms by an all-weather road to the King Bay (Figure 1). The coordinates of the property are centred on the UTM coordinates 658,375mE - 5,543,760mN (NAD 27 Zone 15).

GEOMORPHOLOGY The surveyed area was entirely carried out on the King Bay Lake, an E-W trending inlet of the Sturgeon Lake enclosed between hills with elevations from 408 metres to 480 metres above sea level (Figure 2). Sporadic small islands were found during the survey. These islands were apparently formed by accumulation of glacial boulders deposited on areas of shallow water. Maximum estimated water depth is of 20 metres.

OBJECTIVE As requested by personnel of Emerald Fields Resource Corporation, the objective of the survey was to identify N-S trending magnetic features that would be associated with structures hosting Au mineralization under the waters of the King Bay.

THE SURVEY A crew of two people mobilized to the property on March 15th, 2007 and spent five days surveying the area requested. The crew demobilized on March 20th, 2007. The magnetic survey was performed using the following equipment: - 01 GEM GSM-19W v6.0 (walking mag) w/built-in GPS receiver with Overhauser
effect sensor. Sampling intervals of 1sec - 01 GEM GSM-19 base station for diurnal corrections with sampling interval of 3sec · Overhauser effect sensor · Integrated Canadian Marconi GPS Resolution: 0.01 nT and 1 m Absolute accuracy: 0.2 nT and 20 m (relative: 3 m) Gradient tolerance: >10,000 nT/m Staff mounted sealed sensor, kept at 1.8m above ground For QC purposes in addition to diurnal corrections using a base station, the crew surveyed 2 N-S tie lines to the West and East of the area (Figure 5). The survey was performed without picketed grid lines. It was GPS guided using a Garmin VistaC GPS pre-loaded with the grid lines with an overall accuracy of 5 metres. The grid configuration was of 23 E-W lines with a spacing of 100 metres (21.5 kms); 14 lines oriented approximately N-S @ 25 metre spacing (1.3 kms), 01 traverse line (1.7 kms) and 2 N-S tie lines (1.2 kms). The total survey lines total to 25.7 kms. The base station was setup in coordinates: 657,348mE-5,543,537mN (NAD 27 Zone 15) proximal to the landing site on the NW shore of the King Bay. The magnetic datum used was 57825nT, value obtained from averaging the readings during a period of 6 hours. The walking mag GPS readings were recorded using the coordinate system: UTM WGS84 Zone 15. DATA PROCESSING Raw data was corrected using the diurnal correction connecting the walking mag with the base station at the end of every day. At the end of the survey, the data was corrected removing noisy readings. The overall quality of the data is excellent as verified using the readings from tie lines with less than 2nT difference. The survey included capture of the GPS information for differential post-processing. GPS data files are included in the enclosed CD. The validated data was gridded using the “Spatial Neighbour Inverse Distance Weighting” method with a 2m cell size using the software Encom Discover 5.01 integrated in MapInfo 8.0. Then the grid was smoothed using a 3x3 Average filter. The

resulting grid file is in Geosoft format and can be viewed using the Oasis Montaj Viewer available for free from: http://www.geosoft.com/pinfo/oasismontaj/free/montajviewer.asp. The maps produced include the claims and dispositions boundary lines obtained from the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines – MNDM in MapInfo format (http://www.mndm.gov.on.ca/MNDM/MINES/LANDS/claimap3/datadownload_e.asp). PRELIMINARY INTERPRETATION AND DISCUSSION OF RESULTS The total magnetic field shows areas with high magnetic response to the central-West part of the area covered as well as to the north. Apparently, it corresponds to the presence of mafic volcanics of basaltic composition. Spotted magnetic highs scattered in the area represent to accumulations of boulders of lithological composition similar to the previously mentioned. Similar accumulations were identified along the shore lines to SW and NE of the area. Such magnetic anomalies should not be considered of interest without ground checking where possible. Figure 5 shows 6 magnetic features prioritized by their importance. Features F1 and F2 are of the higher priority because of their continuity and of N-S orientation. Narrower line spacing would be necessary to define these anomalies in more detail for further work. The other magnetic features are of less priority because of their continuity; however they might represent something of interest for further work. Respectfully submitted, Horizon Exploration Enr.
