EMBROIDERCut 2 pieces of fabric to fi t the large hoop. Hoop in three layers. On the bottom: fabric with right side down then stabilizer and fabric right side up on top. This will result in a fl ower that is pretty both front and back. Slide on the embroidery unit and select design 14. Thread your sewing machine with embroidery thread on top and matching sewing thread in the bobbin.

Embroider one fl ower. When fi nished, remove the hoop and cut out the fl ower. Cut abut 1/8'' (3 mm) outside the embroidery. Illustration A.

Decrease the fl ower about 20% in your sewing machine and embroider one in that size. Hoop as above. When fi nish repeat as before.

Place the small fl ower on top of the larger one. Make small loops of the satin ribbon and arrange them as a small fl ower in the center of the embroidered fl ower. Select A38 on your Desig-ner SE. It will automatically drop the feed teeth on your sewing machine. Sew the ribbon in place through all the layers.Illustration B.

Attach the bead in the center of the fl ower among the satin rib-bon loops by hand. Illustration C.

Now you have a nice three dimensional fl ower to embellish your favorite handbag.
