Slideshare gives more visibility to your content, outside of the conference setting.

Slideshare makes your content findable by search engines.

Presentations on Slideshare can be viewed directly in the browser, without downloading a file or requiring software on your local machine.

Presentations can be embedded in other web environments, such as wikis and blogs.

If you don’t have an account yet, create one.

Use the Upload button at the top of the page.

Choose the regular Upload. You will be prompted to choose a file on your computer.

To avoid font substitution (preserve your layout), I recommend uploading a PDF version of your slides.

Make sure to give a relevant name to your slides and to use the jasigsakai12 tag.

Copy the provided embed code.

Once on your page, click Edit.

Place your cursor where you want your slides to appear.

Use the Insert button, Other Macros.

Search for HTML, select the appropriate macro. Click Insert.

Paste your embed code in the HTML macro container, and click Save at the bottom of the page.

Your page will now include your slides.
