Following 19 years in the Energy Sector, Alaa recently joined Egis international as Chief Operations Officer, Middle East business unit based in Dubai, UAE. Egis International, an engineering group working in the fields of infrastructure consulting, engineering and operations; offering solutions and know-how expertise in the areas of urban development, sustainable city construction, buildings, water, the environment and energy. The group is also involved in project financing, tolling, road and airport operations. In his role Alaa oversees the company’s ongoing operations in the Middle East, develops and implements overall business strategy geared towards flawless execution and customers satisfaction, ensures effective business resources and planning required to profitably deliver existing and upcoming projects as well as drive extensive and sustainable regional growth.

Moreover, he is introducing a completely new culture of getting things done.
