What is their job title?
Do they have buying authority? Are they the decision maker?
What are their interests?
Where do they spend their time? Where can we find these people?
What Are Your Targets? (Examples: Increase sales, increase subscribers.)
Make sure your targets are S.M.A.R.T (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time
Bound). For example:
Increase sales by 10% by July 28th 2013.
Increase subscribers from 250 to 1000 by December 2013.
Why Have You Set These Targets? (Example: An increase in sales will lead to increase in
profits.)
How Will You Achieve These Targets? (Example: increase sales by providing a special offer
or to increase subscribers offer a free gift.)

Create a Monthly Content Calendar
Frequency of Emails, Date and Time
Decide on article topics.
Assign roles and responsibilities. (Who will be producing the content, reviewing it, creating and sending out the email.)
