Attention shall be given to statistical description of these and other related phenomena relevant to the safe design and operation of ships and offshore structures. Takuji Waseda – Metocean: directional wave spectrum. New observations (satellite, ship-borne radar, buoy array, lidar etc.), new analysis methods (Bayesian, wavelet, etc.),third-generation wave models (improved NL source term), and theories. Applications: can be included as well, such as, ship stability. Of course, freak wave prediction can be a part of it. Wave-current interaction, varying wind, etc.
