View Select the information you want to see on the screen using the ON/OFF buttons.

Sources Manage bitexts and indexes used as sources for your job.

Pretranslation Pretranslate* your document.

*This feature is not in production yet.

TERMINOLOGY Highlight (in underlined green font) terms from UNTERM found in the source segment.

SUGGESTIONS Highlight (in grey) segments that contain one or more suggestions, i.e., good matches from bitexts.

STYLES Display some of the text styles from the original document. This affects how you view the document in eLUNa only, not your final translation.

BITEXTS See a list of all the documents identified as possible matches. Include or exclude any of the listed documents, add a document tothe list or assign priorities. INDEX SELECTION See a list of indexes that will be searched by eLUNa to find matches for each segment. Include or exclude any of the listed indexes, even those maintained by other duty stations.

Machine Translation Select the default machine translation provider.

TAPTA4UN, BING, UN BING Select a default machine translation provider. The proposed machine translation will be shown automatically in the translation window when you open each segment.

NONE Select this option if you do not want to use machine translation.

 

Icons at a glance

Export Export your translation to a .docx file.

Settings Manage display, navigation and propagation features.

Document Information Display information about the document you are translating.

DOCX Export a clean file.

DOCX WITH COMMENTS Export the file with comments.

VIEW ORIGINAL: ENGLISH Click to open the original .docx file.

DOCUMENT STATISTICS Click to view a matrix showing the processes performed by eLUNa for the document and the status of those processes. COMPLETE / BY Indicates the percentage of translated text and the name of the translator(s) on mouse over.

JOB DOCUMENTS Lists other documents uploaded under the same job number. Click on a link to open the relevant .docx file in English.

OLD UI Opens the old eLUNa interface in another tab.

PARAGRAPH MARK/NUMBERS Display paragraph marks and numbers of segments for easy reference.

MOVE TO NEXT SEGMENT Tick it to open segments in a linear manner (segment by segment, whether translated or untranslated). Otherwise, you will move from one untranslated segment to the next.

PROPAGATION Enable propagation within the document and between documents uploaded under the same job number.

Standalone Search Engine Perform searches by typing any string of text.

Find and Replace Find and replace words or phrases in your translation.

Reset Font Size Zoom the font size in (+) or out (-).

Help Display the Help menu.

COLOR CODES Hover the mouse over the squares to see the legend for each color.
