The eLearner Characteristics’ of Sunni Day Sunni is a great multitasker she can taken on several

functions including technology related tasks, prioritize them, and have them accomplished in a record amount of time.Sunni is a wiz when it comes to interacting with technology and social media. She writes a well respected blog called “The New Way” which allows her to review and keep up on all the latest technology devices. She is a member of the most popular social sites from Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr to Snapchat and Vine. She knows her way around each site and frequencies them daily.She is very adept at processing and interrupted information flow. She quickly learns use new computer devices, new technology software and applies them to her everyday life with no problems. She also cool in a panic (certain website may go down) when in comes to loss of an information source because she knows at least several different source and methods to extract the information that she needs from the internet.Sunni is innately talented at working both on her own as well as in team/group fashion.123rf.com

Sunni’s Past Educational Experiences

Sunni is what is known as a Millennial her education while growing up was to attend the physical classroom

Her classrooms consisted of both computers and well as texted books.

It was through computer she learned that she was a visual learn and preferred videos and slides as a poses to the written text. She also noticed that she was a lot more comfortable on the computer.

How Sunni likes to Learn

Sunni likes to learn through an online format

She always would like to be taught by tech savvy instructors so that they can help her improve on her technology skills.

Sunni also likes her classes to be very interactive, kept at a fast pace and will keep her extremely inspired and driven about the lessons that she is learning.

Sunni’s goals for her learning experience

As an eLearner and a future eDesigner Sunni’s goals are to find instructors that teach how she learns the best with visual preferences and through social media platforms.

Sunni’s job is pretty demanding so she must make sure that her elearning experience is flexible and goes around her schedule.

She wants to work with her online peers and communicate with them about assignment through discussion boards, email and video chat sites, such as OneDrive.

She is hoping that her elearning experiences will help and allow her to build and design one of the first eColleges. There will be no physical collage at all. All admissions, registrations, communications and courses will be done entirely online.

How the collaborative nature of social media could help Sunni to achieve her goals

The collaborative nature of social media will go well with Sunni’s adaptive nature and allow her to communicate with other and share information about the newest and latest technologies or social media sites that will be developed and executed.

By working with others through social media Sunni will learn to develop the skills and techniques need for a eDesigner to teach as well as to learn.

Collaborating with other through social media will allow her the opportunity to gather information about the good, the bad and the ugly details of what other online students want and expect of a College that is completely online.

The collaborative nature of social media could help Sunni achieve her objectives by helping her find like minded teacher, student and faculty that want to one day help her with her ultimate goal of eCollege

Conclusion Sunni is a goal oriented thinker. She wants to be a trail blazer, a

leader in a technological and social media society, by becoming a eDisgner and then in the future by developing her own eCollege.

Sunni posses the skills and the talents to achieve her goals. Sunni can multitask preforming one then more process at a time. She is multifunctional, meaning she can operate both alone

and/or in a group to carry out responsibilities. She loves and is unafraid to be around technology. Sunni wants to be in a learning environment that possess the

tech savvy skills and competencies that will help her reach her learning potential as well as her goals.
