  • 1. Elizabeth IThe reign of Queen Elizabeth I was the Golden Age of Englishhistory because while she ruled culture and trading rose. And although poverty rose, the majority of her reign was highly successful. After the defeat of the Spanish armada England was able to peacefully enjoy the Renaissance. Although the citizens of England were distraught that Elizabeth never sought marriage they felt a wave of pride and patriotism towards their virgin Queen. Elizabeth was never like her experience, to put it lightly, cousin, and in such ways never brought shame apone the English Empire.

2. Birth Elizabeth I was born September 7, 1533 3. Execution On May 19, 1536 Elizabeth's mother, Anne Boleyn, was sentenced to death under false charges of incest and adultery for failing to conceive a son for King Henry VIII. 4. The boy King is born.

  • On October 12, 1937 Prince Edward was born. His mother had died during labor.

5. Stepmothers

  • July 28, 1540, King Henry VIII marries Catherine Howard, Elizabeth's aunt.

6. WAR

  • In the year 1544 England goes to war against French forces.

7. Opening of the Throne!

  • November 17, 1558 Queen Mary dies, 8. England has an opening for a new Queen.

9. Coronation -__- On January 15,1559 Queen Elizabeth I is crowned as the new Queen of England. 10. Acts of supremacyMay 8, 1559, Queen Elizabeth's Acts of Supremacy and Uniformity are passed, implementing the Elizabethan religious Settlement. 11. Treaty and Pox Queen Elizabeth signs the Treaty of Hampton Court, which gives assistance to the French Huguenots in September of 1662. She gets small pox in October. 12. Book of MartyrsJohn Foxe's "Acts and Monuments" or as it is better known, "Book of Martyrs," is published in 1563. 13. Peace of Troyes Treaty between England and France declaring peace between the two. England renounces claim to Calais, on payment by French of 222,000 crowns. 14. Born into the Gold

  • On April 23 1564 William Shakespeare is born into the Golden Age of England.

15. X-Jesus

  • February 25 1570, Queen Elizabeth is excommunicated by the pope.

16. Protecting the wildlife

  • Elizabeth issues a declaration that she is taking the Netherlands under her protection on August 14 th1589

17. Royal Love February 1, 1587, Queen Elizabeth signs the the death warrant of Mary, Queen of Scots. This warrant is completed 7 days later. 18. NO MORE SPANISH England defeats the Spanish Naval Armada in 1588. 19. Golden Words On November 20 th1601 Queen Elizabeth delivers her Golden Speech to the citizens of England. 20. Adios Elizabeth

  • March 24 1603, Queen Elizabeth dies leaving England one of the most powerful and prosperous countries in the world.
