ELIJAH was a powerful prophet of GodHis disciple was ELISHA

ELISHA also did amazing miracles!

“Sir, my husband has died. He feared God. But he owed money to a man who is coming to take away my 2 sons as slaves”

“What shall I do for you? Tell me what do you have at home?”

“A jar of oil”

“Go, quickly... to your neighbors and borrow as many empty jars as you can. Then go into the house... you and your son... close the door and start pouring oil into the jars. Set each one aside as soon as it is full”

“There is not another vessel.”

So the oil ceased.

“Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”

“Now to Him who is able to do

EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY

above all that we ask or think,

according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20)

What 3 things did the woman do?

1) Call on God for help

PRAYER2) Gave what she had

OFFERING3) Did what she was told

ACT in OBEDIENCE

have ... our work, time, effort
