The VISCOLAM is a high density viscoelastic membrane designed to improve acoustic insulation.

Recommended use:Reinforcement of the insulation of Dry walls (gypsum boards). - Improves the total mass with minimum increase of the thickness. - Improves vibrations attenuation between gypsum boards. - Improves low-frequency sound insulation.

The VISCOLAM AUTO-ADHESIVO: The self-adhesive VISCOLAM is easy applied and has two main advantages: Easy handling size of 1,2 x 1m that fits perfectly the standard size of gypsum boards resulting thus in minimum loss of product.

The ChovACUSTIC FIELTEX composite product is a textile felt of 16 mm thermally adhered to a high density viscoelastic membrane. This combination of absorbent and insulation characteristics result in a product highly efficient that reduces airborne noise in a wide range of frequencies. Recommended use: - Soundproof of traditional building elements in new buildings or refurbishment. - Acoustic insulation drainpipes or air pipes.

The ChovACUSTIC PLUS FIELTEX is a multilayer composite product consisting in two layers of polyester open fibers being asymmetric in density and thickness and that are thermally adhered to a 4 mm high density viscoelastic membrane. Recommended use: - Insulation of double leaf partition walls. - Acoustic insulation of Dry lining sysyems. - Soundproof insulation of ceilings.

ChovACUSTIC LR 70/4 board is multilayer composite product consisting in a 40 mm rockwool board of 70 Kg/m3 density, thermally adhered to a high density viscoelastic membrane. Improves the airborne noise insulation. Recommended use: - Soundproof insulation of ceilings. - Improves the insulation of modular systems (screens, laminated plasterboards...) - Can be installed directly onto the wall or adjusted to walls studs.

STRUCTURE­BORNE SOUND INSULATION

ELASTOBAND BAJANTES is a multilayer self-adhesive composite product consisting of a high strenght polyolefin thermally adhered to a viscoelastic membrane of high density.

Recommended use: - Sound insulation of water downpipes and of air conditionning pipes.

The ELASTOBAND is a Self-adhesive elastic sealing tape consisting of a polyethylene film thermally adhered to a high density viscoelastic membrane of a 2 mm.

Recommended use: - Perimetric soundproofing or air-borne noise of plasterboard systems. - Impact noise soundproofing (increased by 17 dB) of wooden battens floors.

ELASTOBAND 50: Joints sealing and repairs of small damages caused during the installation of the soundproofing insulation boards.

BANDA DESOLARIZANTE is a viscoelastic tape of high density having a great elasticity and a compressive strength.

Recommended use: - Perimetric sealing tape for decoupling vibration transmission from the surrounding structure at the intersection of partition walls with floors and ceiling. Improves air-borne soundproofing.

AIRBORNE AND IMPACT NOISE ACOUSTIC INSULATION

The ChovAIMPACT is an expanded cross-linked polyethylene film.

ChovAIMPACT ALTA RESISTENCIA is an expanded cross-linked polyethylene film of closed sealed cells. The compressive strenght of the ChovAIMPACT ALTA RESISTENCIA is greater than this of the ChovAIMPACT and it has a high compressive strenght (> 21 kPa) and a great ageing strenght under constant load (< 10%).

ChovAIMPACT PLUS is a multilayer composite product consisting in three layers of high quality polyethilene film obtained from and an extruding manufacturing process and a physical expansion of closed sealed cells.

Recommended use: - ChovAIMPACT 3: Impact noise reduction under parquet or laminate flooring. - ChovAIMPACT 5: Impact noise reduction under ceramic tiles, concrete slab... - ChovAIMPACT ALTA RESISTENCIA: Reduction of impact noise in systems that require a high mechanical strenght (parking). - ChovAIMPACT BANDA: Expanded polyethylene tape. “Must-have” product to complete the ChovAIMPACT range used in floating floor systems.

ChovANAPA is Polyester fiber felt having a porous structure that provides a high sound absorption and a low thermal conductivity. Characteristics: Low flammability, innocuous, easy to handle, non toxic, recyclacle, does not loose fibers.

Recommended use: - Dry walls partition systems and suspended ceiling or to reinforce the thermal and sound insulation. - Sound absorptive product for perforated plasteboards. Suitable for façades thermal insulation.

ChovAPREN: Rigid and semi-rigid polyurethane agglomerated foam boards. The main advantages are: High sound absorption, great elasticity and easy installation with adhesive glue. Low thermal conductivity.

Recommended use: - Airborne sound insulation of plasterboards systems. - Impact sound insulation of engine rooms and commercial premises with sound amplifier equipments. - Floors slabs thermal insulation.

SOUND ABSORBERS

The ChovACUSTIC DECO is a sound-absorber board specially designed to reduce high sound levels inside a room thus controlling the existing echo and reverberation and improving the comfort inside it. It is a self-extinguishing polyurethane foam product.

Available in different geometrical shapes: Corrugated, pyramidal, grooved, plain and also available in self-adhesive.

The ChovACUSTIC DECOTEC consists in sound-absorber melamine foam boards specialy designed to control the echo and reverberation. Available in pyramidal and plain geometrical format.

Advantages: - It is suitable for public premises due to its low flammability. - It is enough just to cover 30% of the floor room to be effective.
