Zinc Zinc is a natural mineral
found in common foods
Oysters are found to have the highest amount of zinc per serving.
Zinc is mostly commonly digested by eating red meat and poultry.
However, it is also found in some seafood, cereal and dairy products.

How Zinc benefits humans when they ingest it:
Zinc is involved in numerous aspects of the metabolism.
It helps with the human immune system, DNA synthesis, and cells.
It plays a vital role in growth and developmental functions in pregnant woman, children and adolescents.
It is required for proper sense of taste and smell.

What happens to humans when they do not ingest sufficient
amounts of Zinc A deficiency is Zinc may
cause :◦ growth retardation◦ loss of appetite◦ impairment of immune
functions.
In most severe cases, zinc deficiency can cause◦ hair loss◦ constant diarrhea◦ weight loss ◦ delayed healing of
wounds.

FluorineHow do humans ingest it?
Fluorine is mostly ingested by humans when they drink water.
Some traces of it are also found in foods such as seafood, cheese and Chinese tea.

How Fluorine benefits humans when they ingest it:
Humans benefit from the intake of fluorine because it helps with oral health.
Fluorine prevents tooth decay and cavities and strengths the enamel.
Being that Fluorine is beneficial to oral health, it is not uncommon to find it in toothpaste.

What happens to humans when they do not ingest sufficient amounts of that Fluorine:
If there is a deficiency of fluorine during the growing period, it will result in dental caries and tooth decay.
If it is taken in excess, it could affect the teeth and bones.

How do these elements interact with each other in our bodies? Fluorine is found in the bones, teeth, blood, skin , hair
and nails.
It is essential to healing process.
Zinc is found in the brain, genital organs, thyroid, liver and kidneys.
It is also vital in the healing process.
