elementary school career day - software engineer
DESCRIPTION
I presented to a 5th grade and 3rd grade class about being a software engineer. I briefly covered my background, key traits, potential reward/pay, and how to get started. I even demoed the basic Scratch demo program. As a subtle anti-bullying point, I referred to myself as a geek and nerd. I told them that I don't see those as bad, but badges of honor.TRANSCRIPT
