Teachers, Leslie Moffett, Stephanie Labelle Learning Outcomes For Teachers: Kindergarten: The Kindergarten team will review portfolio

updates from LA Committee Meeting of 1/24/2014. We will plan a thematic unit to support our SLO for 2013-14.

Grade 1 & 2: Continue to review the Math CCSS pacing chart, define area of focus, and align with current math resources to develop lessons and plan instruction. Continue to create common formative assessments for addition and subtraction units in order to prepare students to be able to demonstrate understanding and application of skills required to ensure students are meeting proficiency.

Grades 3 & 4: The Reading consultant will share information and resources from state SBAC conferences. Teachers will gain knowledge of the new CCSS/SBAC ELA documents to compare alignment with current curriculum and practices. Teachers will be able to design units and lessons that align with CCSS/SBAC.

Special Education Teachers and Stephanie Labelle: Analyze and review work assessment data, as well as continue to develop lessons and plan instruction focusing on student learning objectives to ensure academic growth in reading comprehension.

Student Outcomes: Students’ academic growth will be enhanced by all PLC

activities. Students will be able to demonstrate their learning through appropriate specifically created activities as they experience CCSS/SBAC rigor in Language Arts.

Student Outcomes: Activities will result in improved student interventions leading to development of perceptual and motor skills required for reading and written output. Participants will increase collaboration with educational teams, and families for successful transfer to practice and accommodations.

address bullying in the areas identified in the Climate Survey completed by parents in Spring 2013. They will share the information at a faculty meeting to provide strategies that promote positive interactions with students.
