Elegant International School offers educational material in all the religious disciplines of Islam. The curriculum developed by EIS encourages children to analyze, explain, plan and explore various aspects of their learning. Therefore, we have moved beyond simple knowledge acquisition to a student-centered investigative approach within an Islamic context and framework.

The schools main objective is to establish an impressive center for learning, where pupil can receive a balanced education in an Islamic environment which in turn will promote their Spiritual, Moral Cultural, Mental and Physical development.

A 300+ admission in the very rst year proved the acceptance of our unique concept of Academic Education with Islamic Knowledge within an excellent Islamic environment.

Our school website www.elegantintschool.com provides much of what you need to know. If you are applying for Kindergarten to Grade 6 please feel free to register or visit the school with your child. We will study your child’s report to assess their capacities. While we do not provide special programs, we do provide learning support in keeping with our admission policy.

The Elegant International School is established by group of engineers inspired by Professor Latheef Nazir Ahmed. The group realized the importance of modern education in all the religious disciplines of Islam at an affordable cost. With this aim we founded ELEGANT INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL under ELEGANT EDUCATIONAL AND WELFARE TRUST to provide a caring safe and well-ordered environment for children to develop their educational skills and practice Islam.

Mission statement The vision of EIS is to provide the tools to produce well-educated, condent and charismatic Du'aat (callers to Islam) on the method of the noble companions of our noble messenger of Allah (saws). We envision every child that studies with the EIS curriculum to be positioned to pursue higher degrees at leading Universities around the world in both Academic and Religious education,

The School Advisory Council consists of members from varied backgrounds who will assist the school with perspectives, Ideas and input for school improvement in all disciplines. The panel has total 6 members including the advisor Dr. Inyath Ulla (Professor Bangalore University), Shaikh Sabir Ali Umri & 1 member from the parent body.

All the teachers are well qualied, experienced and

Montessori trained.

Every class has class teacher along with an assistant teacher

and trained nurse.

All classrooms are well ventilated.

Large windows along with glazing walls allow the entry of

natural ventilation and light into the classrooms.

Each room has informal and formal seating allowing the

exibility of space.

Plenty of indoor play areas. The Indoor play area is

equipped with all playing equipment.

All the classrooms are facilitated with Montessori Learning

Aids which help the child to develop the analytical thinking.

Most of our teachers are Master’s degree.

The Academic year at EIS commences on the rst Monday of June every year.

EIS observes major national holidays of India.

School begins for Primary at 8:30 a.m. with the dismissal at 3:20 p.m. on Monday

to Friday and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and Montessori 8:30 a.m. with the dismissal

at 1:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 12:00 p.m. on Friday.

Orientation Day students and their families are invited to Orientation Day which

is held in the week prior to rst day of the School. This is not just for new students;

all the families are welcome to attend. The purpose of this day is to meet

teachers, other students and parents.

School uniforms students are expected to neatly, and correctly attired in the

stipulated school uniform.

School bus service though not a door-to-door service, School buses ply around

the R.T Nagar area, touching most of the areas favored by the EIS community.

Policies children develop well with in a structured arena and this is where rules,

policies and procedures come into play. Pivotal issues to be aware of are our

zero tolerance policy on :

• Use, Possession of trafcking of drugs, tobacco and alcohol

• Plagiarism of any kind, even homework

• Bullying

Application form is included in the admission guide.

Application will be considered for review and placement only after all the

documents and application fees have been received.

Admission is contingent upon approval of the application by the Admission

Committee.

Inaccurate / incomplete information may result in the revocation of admission.

Parents must read and sign admission declaration in the application form.

The One- Time, non-refundable admission fee, refundable security deposited

and break down of fees for optional services are clearly listed in the fee

schedule.

Pro Rating of Tuition fee Students commencing class’s midway through the

tuition period may have their tuition fees pro-rated to the month of entry.

Late Fee and Non-Payment of Fees All fees must be paid on / by the date

stipulated on the invoice. Late payments will be subject to a penalty. There will

be no refund on tuition or fees.

Bona de letters will be issued only after application and registration fees have

been received.
