How to post continued...
When you are happy with your post you can view it live, at: http://www.electronicsweekly.com/blogs/noticeboard/
(To become comfortable with the posting process, and to be able to experiment away from the live site, visit the ‘Test’ area (‘Noticeboard Test’):

The same logins should have been set up for you to experiment.)
If this happens…
What could possibly go wrong? Well, here are possible solutions to some small issues that you may hit…
• The post goes live straightaway despite being pre-dated – The Status field (in the Publishing section, top right) must be set to Scheduled, rather than Published for pre-dating to work.
• The formatting of the text looks all wrong – Be careful not to past directly from Word into the blogging window. It is best to paste the contents into a text editor, like Notepad, and copy it from there into Moveable Type. This will strip away any rogue formatting.
• The picture I inserted is in the wrong place – When inserting a picture don’t miss the intermediate stage where you can specify the picture is left or right aligned. Generally it is best to add the text first and then insert a picture, specifying left or right, as shown in the picture on the left. (Check the tick-box ‘Remember these settings’ once you are happy with a regular regime.)
