2500++ Service Mode
ACTIVATION OF SERVICE MODE
Press and hold the FREEZER TEMPERATURE UP (+) key and FREEZER TEMPERATURE DOWN ( -) for 5 seconds.
Each press of the FRESH FOOD TEMPERATURE UP (+) will step through the variables of each test and display the test information in the Fresh Food Display.
2500++ Service Mode
REMEMBER: This is a service mode, not a diagnostic mode. The service mode will allow you to test components but will not show specific error codes although the 2500++ does have the capability to show an error during some tests.

On activation of the service mode, all LED lights on the display will illuminate.
- Pressing the Fresh Food (+) key will blank the display
- Pressing the FF (+) key again will begin the first test.
To actuate a load on a particular component (turn it on or off), use the ON/OFF key present on the user interface.
To step to the next test – use the FF (+) key.

DEACTIVATION OF SERVICE MODE
Press and hold the FF(+) for 5 seconds
Mode will automatically deactivate after 5 minutes of no key entry

MANUAL DEFROST MODE
Activation: Press and hold FF temperature (+) key while pressing the FF temperature (-) within 6 seconds.
FREEZER SHOULD DISPLAY “d”
FRESH FOOD DISPLAY “F”

MANUAL DEFROST MODE
If the manual defrost is activated during a normal automatic defrost cycle, then:
FREEZER DISPLAY “AD”
FRESH FOOD DISPLAY “F”
After completion of the automatic defrost cycle, the power board will send the heater ON time. U/I should display this on time for 10 seconds.

DeActivation: Press and hold FF temperature (+) key while pressing the FF temperature (-) within 6 seconds or do a power-on-reset.

DEFROST FAILURE
FREEZER DISPLAY will flash “d” @ 1hz
FRESH FOOD DISPLAY will flash “F” @ 1 hz
2500++ Service Mode
Communication in between 2500++ and UI board
If the communication is lost between the Main control board and the User Interface, the following will occur:
1. The user interface will show “CE” in both the FF and FZ displays
2. The user interface will disable all functions including alarms
ALERTS
FF actual temperature greater than 55 degrees and above 55F degrees for 20 minutes - display “HI” in FF display.
FZ actual temperature greater than 26 degrees and above 26F degrees for 20 minutes - display “HI” in FZ display
ALERTS
During and 1 hour after defrost: high temperature alarm is disabled.
Show Room Mode will display 70 in both displays
System OFF: display “OFF” in both FF and FZ displays
Sabbath Mode: Display “5b” in both FF and FZ displays
Evaporator Fan failure: Display “E” in FZ display and display “f” in FF display
Door Ajar: if system is ON and door remains open for more than 5 minutes
