We’re widely known for our galvanizing and coatingcapabilities. Our galvanized coatings are uniform andflake-proof. We produce the finest hot-dip galvanizedand hot-zinc coated threads in the industry and weapply a specially formulated coating that inhibitsoxidation.

Our EMT is manufactured on modern electric resistanceweld mills and galvanized in-line. Special coatings arethen applied to ease the pulling of wires and to inhibitwhite rust and storage stain.

Aluminum FeaturesCorrosion ResistanceAluminum conduit resists most corrosive atmospheresand industrial environments that usually attack othertypes of metallic conduit. In these applications,aluminum requires no painting or replacement, resultingin considerable savings in maintenence costs.

Non-sparkingAluminum is non-sparking, eliminating a hazard inexplosive atmospheres.

Non-magneticNon-magnetic aluminum conduit reduces power lossdue to voltage drop, resulting in power savingsthroughout the life of installation.

Ease of InstallationAluminum conduit can be readily cut, bent or threadedon the job, and requires no special tools or installationequipment. In installations using large size conduit, easeof fi eld fabrication is of special signifi cance.

Thread ProtectorsRigid Aluminum Conduit is shipped with a coupling onone end and an color-coded thread protector on theother end. See Rigid Aluminum Conduit packagingtable for the trade size end cap color relationship.

InstallationThe conventional tools and practices used on steelconduit can be utilized on Rigid Aluminum Conduit.6063 Aluminum Alloy, T-1 temper on all MetricDesignations except 16mm, 21mm and 27mm whichare a T-5 temper.
