3 Green Furniture Concept

Ascent Series Electrical installation

This manual describes the electrical installation of the Ascent Series system. The manual uses a straight Ascent Single Back configuration as an example but the instructions are applicable to any Asent Series modules. In the Ascent Series all the cabeling are hidden and not visible after in-stalment as a security precaution. Cables should be installed in every module before connecting them in to planned configuration.

IMPORTANT! A maximum of eight chargers can be connected to one starter cable. More then eight chargers in a configuration requires multiple starter cables.


Ascent Series Electrical installation

Make sure when assembling the electricity that all cables are in the same direction so that the power can flow through the whole configuration.

Starter cable position will then have make some of the cables to be turned 180 degree to be able to connect the whole configuration.

Depending on the position of the starter cable and electricity source the electricity might not be able to flow through the conficuration with the standard cabeling direction.


PartsAscent Series Electrical Installation

When connecting an Ascent Series configuration to your electricity source you will need to do the following steps. Each Ascent module comes with one of three different cable kits but the installa-tion process is the same.

IMPORTANT! Always shut off power to the circuit before starting installation work. In some countries electrical installation may only be carried out by an authorised electrical contractor. Contact your local electricy authority for advice.

Assembly InstructionsNova C Electrical Installation

Attach the Wieland Adaptor Blocks to the Interconnector Cable, connecting the male side of the cable to a female port on the adaptor block. Repeat with all cables.

Connect all cables for one module with adaptor blocks and the spiral cables on the edges like the image.

Make sure that all the connections are centered right in front of the cut outs on the back side of the beam. Otherwise it will not be possible to attach add ons that requires electricity.

Insert the connected cables in to the beam of your bench module.

To connect two modules, push them close together and connect the spiral cables.

Before connecting the cables, make sure that they are inserted to the beams in the right direction so that a male connector meets a female connector.

After attaching cover lids the general assembly of electricity on Ascent modu-les are complete. See seperate manuals for instalation of chargers and how the modules should be assembled together.

Place cover lids on all cut outs in the beams.

After connecting the spiral cables to each other, push the modules together and see seperate manual for connecting modules.
