As COVID-19 restrictions throughout the state are beginning to be lifted, Salem Medical Center is on the path to charting the course to the “new normal.” Gov. Phil Murphy recently gave New Jersey hospitals the “green light” to resume elective – or non-emergency - surgery and invasive procedures. This means that any postponed surgeries that may have been delayed since mid-March can now be scheduled.
